Three Brothers. One Tiny Abuelita. A Global Mission.
We aren’t a restaurant. We’re a movement. Born in 2012, bred in the streets of NYC, and fueled by a 48-hour braise.
Opened in 2012 by the Oropeza brothers, Bolivian Llama Party (BLP) was built on a singular obsession: taking the soul of Bolivian street food and refining it for the discerning NYC palate.
We didn't come here to play it safe. We came to bring world-wide recognition to the rich, often-overlooked culinary history of Bolivia. Through a mix of high-level craft and creative chaos, we’ve turned the "Triple Threat"—Salteñas, Cholas, and Brisket—into a New York City staple.
Critically Acclaimed. Abuelita Approved.
Don't just take our word for it. Our innovative take on Andean cuisine has been shouted out by the heavy hitters:
The New York Times
Eater
Gothamist
CNN & TimeOut
But let’s be real—the only review that actually keeps us up at night comes from our dear pocket-sized abuelita. If she says the caldo is right, the party stays jumping.
The Dream is Global. The Flavor is Local.
We believe Bolivian food deserves a seat at the head of the table. From the hand-pinched crust of our Salteñas to the triple-smoke on our brisket, everything we do is a fun, loud, and flavorful effort to put our culture on the map. We’re honoring the past while sprinting toward the future.
